Principally this device can be mounted or retrofitted to each window patching machine series WP. ( It cannot be mounted simultaneously with the hot creasing and cutting station). Up to 4 devices can be fitted to a basic machine.

The perforation should weaken the film to achieve proper folding. Creasing only works for thin films up to max. 80 micro mm. Notice: As when folding the carton, the window starts to deform in the area next to the crease lines of the carton blank. To avoid this effect refer further down to 'windows with notches'.


Window with intermittent slit. Commonly found in the paper tissue market.


Window with shaped perforation. Commonly found in the paper tissue market. Film material normally is PE or sometimes paper.


Window from pre-printed film. Any pre-printed web material - film can be applied and cut under register control.


Bag in box. Made from ready cross sealed tube material.


Window with crease lines and notches. The crease lines are executed by a hot creasing device. The notches are produced by a male-female punching system.

Bag in box. Inner tube is made from web fed material. Length sealing is part of the process. Top and bottom stay open.


Carton blank with carrier handle. All common handles (Persson, Wilton) can be operated.


This process allows the application of a large variety of shaped windows or other thin fitments made from board, paper or composite material.
