Heiber + Schröder Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in 1985 and has gone from strength to strength in the intervening years. By 1990 Heiber + Schröder had become leading packaging machinery manufacturers and today, the number of machines we sell, along with their variety and the number of additional options we offer, ensures that we retain this position.
A large number of worldwide firsts developed by us have made significant impacts on today's market for window patching machines. I.e., in the late eighties, we begun the development of new packaging machinery for pick-and-place operations in the folding paper industry and in doing so created completely new markets. Later, in 1998, we launched the world's first automated window patching machine.
After window patching, our second major is tray forming. Since we introduced, in 1993, a new concept for the production of conical trays, we have gone on to become market leading packaging machinery manufacturers
In addition to these products we also offer an innovative system for the production of displays of various kinds, as well as carrying out special mechanical engineering projects to develop tailor-made solutions to problems in the processing of carton and film.
Currently, Heiber + Schröder is represented in 62 countries with more than 95% of our annual turnover achieved from exports. While development, design and production of our machines takes place at our headquarters in Erkrath, Germany, after-sales back-up can be provided by 12 service agencies located throughout the world, ensuring local care for our customers.

As packaging machinery manufacturers that cater to all production sizes, H+S offers two options: the CE-1000 for short production runs, and the CE-1560 for long runs.
Products commonly run but not limited to on a CE-1000 folding paper machine are nacho trays, French Fry Trays, Clam Shells, Chinese Boxes, Popcorn Trays, and trays with lids. Also known as 4-point trays with glue flaps inside / outside , 6-point trays, leak prove tray (web corners) and 8-point trays.

Common market products would be Donut Boxes, Kleenex Boxes, High End Cosmetic Boxes, Candy Boxes, Toy Boxes, Pasta Boxes and film-windows around corner.
